1926 McLAUGHLIN BUICK (?)

I have (whats left of) what I was told was a 1926 Buick McLaughlin. It appears that it was a sedan that was converted to a pickup truck probably for farm use.
I was fascinated with the rear suspension as the axle mounts to the rear of the leaf rather than the center. Time to clean up the yard and I don't want to just scrap the parts if someone can make use of them.

Remaining parts are the full frame with axles,
front part of the cab w/ steering column and the spokes of the steering wheel,
4 wooden spoke rims (most spindles are broken but rims seem to be complete).

Any small donation and you can have what I have left.

I am the proud owner of this 90% original 1971 Buick Centurion convertible (see photo). The car is in quite good condition and I am working on making it even better.

Something I cannot find is replacement door panels or even a business that could repair mine. Both have a wear-through hole in the handle recess, which is hard plastic material. Otherwise, they’re okay.

Any assistance to find good used parts or to identify a potential source for repair would be appreciated.

Originally purchased new by John McCaslin of Medicine Hat. Sold to Robert Bayer (Schuler, AB) in 1958 with only 24,000 miles on it. In the early 1990's it was purchased by Robert's nephew, Gerald.

I purchased it in 2001 and today the odometer reads 25,739 miles. I am selling because health reasons prevent me from fully enjoying it the way it is meant to be enjoyed.

The tires are quite new. A recent appraisal is available for anyone to look at and much more information can be seen by clicking the picture on the left.

Frame off restoration by Rick Carnes Autobody in Woodstock in 1999 and recently appraised.

Solid car with no surface rust on fenders or quarter panels.
Engine components are original, block replaced in 1981.
Convertible top, replaced in 1982, is in excellent condition
Interior re-done 20 years ago with vinyl seating and new carpeting. Seatbelts have been installed (not a factory option).
