PARTS FOR SALE

1938 BUICK
posted Apr 2021

For sale is a pair of new lap sash seatbelts that were made for my 1938 Buick but were never fitted.

These were made up by Seatbelt Solutions in Western Australia to measurements that I provided. The belts are in a navy blue webbing, have the small GM mini buckle and meet Australian standards.

These will also fit other Buicks of similar vintage, much earlier perhaps and even into the late fifties given the allowable adjustment provided. If extra belts were needed for the centre or for the rear, Seatbelt Solutions would be able to match the buckles and webbing colours from their stock materials.

Includes all of the fitting hardware including the barrel bolts for the centre pillar.

Price is AUST$275.00 plus postage.

PARTS WANTED

1971 BUICK
posted Apr 2021

I am the proud owner of this 90% original 1971 Buick Centurion convertible (see photo). The car is in quite good condition and I am working on making it even better.

Something I cannot find is replacement door panels or even a business that could repair mine. Both have a wear-through hole in the handle recess, which is hard plastic material. Otherwise, they’re okay.

Any assistance to find good used parts or to identify a potential source for repair would be appreciated.

1984 BUICK RIVIERA CONVERTIBLE
posted June 2020

After 8 years of fun crusing in this great car, Wendy and I have decided to part company with our 1984 Riviera Convertible.

We made some modifications to our car with the removal of the factory convertor, installing dual exhausts, an Edelbrock Intake manifold and a KN air filter system.

Recent transmission overhaul, installed a minor shift kit and a new torque convertor.

This Riviera has never seen snow.

VEHICLE FOR SALE

1926 McLAUGHLIN BUICK model 26-40
posted June 2020

Very ORIGINAL two-door Victoria

Originally purchased new by John McCaslin of Medicine Hat. Sold to Robert Bayer (Schuler, AB) in 1958 with only 24,000 miles on it. In the early 1990's it was purchased by Robert's nephew, Gerald.

I purchased it in 2001 and today the odometer reads 25,739 miles. I am selling because health reasons prevent me from fully enjoying it the way it is meant to be enjoyed.

The tires are quite new. A recent appraisal is available for anyone to look at and much more information can be seen by clicking the picture on the left.

Asking $15,000.

VEHICLE FOR SALE

1930 MCLAUGHLIN BUICK model 61 SEDAN
posted June 2020

This car is considered a real classic as it has the same body as the 1931 90 series.

It has all the options: bolt on wooden wheels demountable at the hub like modern cars, fender spares, trunk with fitted suitcases, cranked windshield, cast bronze hubcaps and spare wheel covers and new McLaughlin Buick badge bar between the headlights.

I completely restored it in 2015 and added turn signals, a 2nd taillight, an electric windshield wiper and running board step plates. The 331 inch engine was rebuilt and all soft wood was replaced with Gray Oak.

But health issues force me to sell now. Email me for additional information or more pictures.

Asking $30,000 but I will consider all offers.
